Submissions

Potential contributors, researchers and industrialists, are invited to submit an extended abstract (in Word format) of 1000-1500 words for consideration for inclusion in the programme by March 15, 2010. CINet members can also explicitly ask for a full paper review at this stage. Full papers should be between 4000 and 6000 words, and the format should be in accordance with formatting guidelines. The deadline is the same as for extended abstracts: March 15, 2010.
NOTE: all documents must be submitted electronically, using the button at the bottom of this page.

All submissions will undergo double blind peer review, and the outcome of the review will be sent to the authors by April 15.

The submission (abstract or paper) can either be:

  • accepted
  • provisionally accepted
  • or rejected

Full paper submissions (research papers) and ppt-file submissions (industrial presentations):

  • for provisionally accepted abstracts and papers: are due on May 20. After a review these submissions will either be accepted, accepted with minor modifications, or rejected. Feedback will be be sent to the authors until June 15. Resubmission for papers accepted with minor modifications in this stage is July 1.
  • for accepted abstracts and papers: are due on June 1. The reviewer committee will go through these submissions and authors can be asked to do minor improvements of the paper. Feedback will be sent to the authors by June 15. Resubmission with minor improvements are due on July 1.

Please note the following:

  • Due to the different holiday periods in Europe we cannot give extensions of these deadlines.
  • At least one author needs to register together with the submission of the final paper, otherwise the paper will not be included in the proceedings nor mentioned in the programme.
