CINet Events
Consistent with its research vision, the CINet regards its own conferences,
seminars and workshops, but also relevant other events, as major ways
of developing, disseminating and exchanging with other scholars in the
field, knowledge on continuous innovation.
So far, the network has organised six successful international conferences,
in 1995, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004 and 2005. The next conference will
take place in 2006 in Lucca, Italy. Furthermore, a range of seminars,
workshops, meetings and exchanges have taken place or are in the process
of being organised.

PhD Education
- PhD Workshops
The CINet PhD workshops are held immediately before and during the CINet conferences. The workshop offers PhD students a unique possibility to present and discuss, receive feedback, and exchange comments and views on their research in an inspiring academic community of fellow PhD students and experienced researchers active in the CINet community.
The next CINet PhD Workshop takes place the Friday and Saturday (5 and 6 September 2008) before the 9th International CINet Conference in Valencia, Spain.
- PhD Seminar
Every year, CINet will offer a Doctoral Seminar on Research in Continuous Innovation. The Seminar will feature a foscus on content and method, faculty teaching and student activity, plenary sessions, small-group work and even role games. Through a variety of assignments, participants will work activily and interactively. The seminar on Research in Continuous Innovation programme is co-ordinated by an international core faculty, who also teach in the programme together with other experts in the field of continuous innovation. All faculty members are active in CINet.
The last CINet PhD Seminar was held from 31 March - 4 April 2008. The next seminar will be in 2009 around the same dates.
Supervisors Workshop
As academics we are often given new and exciting challenges in teaching and research. No challenge is greater or more exciting than supervising a research student towards their Masters or Doctoral thesis. As new academics we ask ourselves: "how do I get started supervising?" and after we get started we ask "how can I do this better?" CINet has recognised the need to work with members to help them develop their skills as supervisors by organising a Supervisors Workshop during the annual conference.
The next Supervisors Workshop will be held on Sunday 7 September 2008, in Valencia, Spain.
