At the CINet board meeting in Brighton Mats Magnusson was officially appointed as the new chair of CINet. Mats is the second CINet chair, he succeeded Harry Boer who was chair of CINet for five years. Harry is still a member of the board.

Also three new board members were appointed:

• José Albors, Univ. Politécnica de Valencia, Spain
• Frances Jørgensen, Aalborg University, Denmark
• Jack O'Herlihy, Letterkenny Institute, Ireland
