From 8-12 Septembere 2006 the 7th International CINet Conference was held in Lucca, Italy. The PhD Workshop, the new Supervisors Workshop and the conference itself that were held in the historic city centre of beautiful Lucca were a huge success.
In 1998 CINet established the "John Bessant Best Paper Award", and also this year the price was presented. The decision on who should win the Best Paper Award was a difficult but a unanimous one, made by the selection team (Harry Boer, Mariano Corso, Mats Magnusson), who were advised by the session chairs. This year's winner is:
