Erik W. Hallgren defended his thesis

On 20 October 2008, Erik Hallgren successfully defended his thesis at the Department of Management Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark.

The title of the thesis is "Employee Driven Innovation; A Case of Implementing High-Involvement Innovation". Wishing to engage the full innovative potential of all employees a company needs to focus on:

• Learning processes to ensure a long lasting effect.
• Politics and power to ensure success of the needed changes.
• The background for innovation and not merely the competence needed to make the actual innovation.

The research is based on an action research project done over 2,5 year. John Bessant and Frank Gertsen were members of the graduation committee.

Erik started a new job as an independent consultant in innovation matters called Innovaction, with focus on high involvement and open innovation.
