On March 23, 2006, Jacob Steendahl Nielsen from the Center for Industrial Production will defend his thesis entitled "Collaborative Lea(r)ning". The backbone of this thesis is based on eight articles.
In an article collection based thesis, the articles are usually summarised and discussed in part one of the thesis. In this thesis we are not following this model. Instead we will explore, analyse and discuss the results presented in the eight articles from a new perspective. More specifically, we explore two research questions:
- Which factors enable/disable learning in a collaborative improvement setting and how?
- To what extent and how does learning affect collaborative improvement performance?
Supervisors are Harry Boer and Frank Gertsen. The defense committee consists of Jens Ove Riis (chair), Mats Magnusson and Paul Hyland.
