The next UnBla conference (to unbla: to take the blabla out of a topic) will take place in Lucerne (Switzerland) from 24-26 January 2007. The top of the conference is regional and organisational innovation.
The Unbla conference concept builds on the belief that the participants of a conference - not more than 100 and 50% from industry, 50% from academia - are the ones who carry the knowledge and experience required to address the issues of the conference. The UnBla team offers methods, facilitation and practical guidance, and the participants determine the content. The host organisation defines the overall schedule (see conference program) while the detailed program depends on the contributions of the participants. It will be emailed to participants in December 2006.
In addition, at the 26th January 2007 after the end of the conference, a “FP 7 proposal idea development workshop” sponsored by EURESEARCH will be conducted. The workshop will be open only to conference participants (not yet indicated in the program). The idea here is that after two days of intense work on the conference topic, participants will be able to develop excellent ideas - and the trust that has been build up will allow them to form successfull consortia.
Deadline for Expressions of Interest is 30 November 2006.
