For a PhD the scholarships will pay a stipend of AUD 28,000 a year tax free whilst for a Masters the annual stipend is AUD 24,000. Scholarship holders will work alongside Australia’s leading scientists on research projects aimed at increasing returns to the beef industry by AUD 179 million per annum. The awarding of scholarships for accelerated adoption will compete with applications from other students in the science disciplines. <title>Aino Pöyhönen wins Best Paper Award 7th CINet Conference</title>

<description>From 8-12 Septembere 2006 the 7th International CINet Conference was held in Lucca, Italy. The PhD Workshop, the new Supervisors Workshop and the conference itself that were held in the historic city centre of beautiful Lucca were a huge success. 
In 1998 CINet established the "John Bessant Best Paper Award", and also this year the price was presented. The decision on who should win the Best Paper Award was a difficult but mutual one, made by the chairs of the different sessions and the CINet board. This years' winner is: Aino Pöyhönen, Lappeenranta University of Technology, Finland. The title of her paper is: Development and Validation of a Survey Instrument for Measuring Organizational Renewal Capability.

Bjoerge was supervised by Professor Harry Boer (Aalborg and Stavanger University). The event took place at Aalborg University, Denmark, the university where Bjoerge received his MSc and now his PhD degree. An extended synopsis of the thesis will be available shortlly through CINet.
