From 3-7 September 2010 the 11th International CINet Conference was held in Zürich, Switzerland. Around 100 participants came to Zürich this year and enjoyed the very good atmosphere at an extremely well organised and succesful conference.

One of the features of the CINet conferences is the John Bessant Best Paper Award, which was established in 1998. A committee, consisting of most of the board members went through all the papers presented at the conference. Taking into account the feedback they got from the session chairs and conference participants, they identified three outstanding papers.

The winner of the John Bessant Best Paper Award were Theresa Michl, Bernhard Gold and Arnold Picot, with their paper Managing Strategic Ambidexterity: The Spin-Along.

The runners up were:

Ronald C. Beckett & Andrew O'Loughlin, The Dynamics of Innovation: Managing Kairotic Moments
Jens Hemphälä & Mats Magnusson, Networks for Innovation - But What Networks and What Innovation?
