Summer School on Innovation Methods

We are proud to announce that CINet supports the first CreaLab Summer School that aims at bringing together different people from diverse disciplines, academics and practitioners alike, who will be enabled to share and spread knowledge about innovation methods. The deadline for extended abstracts of the Call for Papers is June 1st 2012. During the Summer School, participants will interact and work in interdisciplinary teams. In thought provoking keynotes and presentations they will learn about methods to generate something new across the boundaries of disciplines, working environments and careers.
The CreaLab Summer School however goes beyond presentations because it is designed for combining theory and practice of innovation methods. Practitioners can bring in innovation challenges from their organizations, which will serve as real life cases for the application and testing of the presented methods in real time. At the end of the three days, there will be a bundle of new perspectives on how to deal with the challenge, and a prototype or a solution to it. Like this, the Summer School participants make innovation happen. Innovation challenge donors will be requested to support the Summer School.
The aim of the Summer School is to test, discuss and develop innovation methods, to discover which methods have been proven to be supportive to innovation processes in practice and to develop new ways for their application.
More information can be found on the Summer School website.
