Added: Friday 26 April 2013, 11:00

The 9th CINet PhD seminar on researching continuous innovation began its last day today. 15 PhD students from various countries and even more nationalities travelled to Budapest, Hungary last weekend, to participate in this highly recommended seminar on researching continuous innovation.

From left to right: Nina Lidegaard, Henrike Boer, Lidia Gryszkieiwicz, Krisztina Demeter (local organizer), Adrienn Ferincz, David Tarody, Maria Carmela Annosi, Sergejs Groskov, Erika Buonansegna, Simon Haahr Stohrbjerg, Andre Benaim, Kim Malmbak Møller, Rasmus Lindgaard, Magnus Bergendahl and Simon Okwir

The seminar featured a combination of faculty teaching and student presentations, plenary sessions, and small-group work. Each morning specific topcs like research design, case studies, surveys, action research and writing scientific articles (learning from what the best journals expect) were addressed based on the lecturer's own research. Lecturers were Prof. Harry Boer from Aalborg University in Denmark, Prof. Mariano Corso from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, Prof. Mats Magnusson from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden and Dr. Bjørge Timens Laugen who is HSEQ Manager at Sub Sea Services in Stavanger, Norway.
During the afternoon, the students discussed their own and others' work in view of the topics that were discussed in the morning.

The seminar was a huge success, not in the least due to the perfect local organization done by Dr. Krisztina Demeter from Corvinus University Budapest.
