Who are we

The Continuous Innovation Network (CINet) is a global network of researchers and practitioners interested in sharing and developing their knowledge of and experience with (continuous) innovation in the widest sense of the word.

Industrial, service and public organizations rely more and more on learning and diffused innovation within the organization and across organizational borders, as the basis for economically, socially and environmentally sustainable development. This requires new and continuous development of theory on, and practices supporting, effective day-to-day operations, improvement and learning, and innovation and change.

CINet brings together academics and practitioners from all over the world, by organizing and/or promoting:

  • An annual conference.
  • Intensive collaboration between and among PhD students and senior members, throughout the network, amongst others through an annual PhD workshop and PhD seminar, and ┬ástudent and staff exchange.
  • The CINet Young Academics (CIYA) and their activities.
  • Research collaboration between the members.
  • Local research events.
  • Interaction between academics and practitioners, in and through the Advisory Board.

Furthermore, CINet offers up-to-date communication services, using RSS feeds, Twitter and Linked-In. Finally, CINet regularly issues publications, including its conference proceedings, and the Research in Continuous Innovation series, which includes research reports and synopses of PhD theses. Some publications can be downloaded for free; others are only available to CINet members.
